AT HOME
It’s here at home where creativity has a place to rest and recoup. Strolls with my wife along the coastal path, hosting our family and friends for dinner and the quiet moments in between all feed my soul and creativity in such a restorative way. I find that I shoot my calmest images in these times, taking the opportunity to look and to linger upon a moment or a scene. Spotting the details we otherwise miss in the business of the working world, simply documenting the here and now.
On some of these walks I’ll play my favourite music, others a great podcast, but often the sound of the sea and wind in my face is all that’s needed. Its mindfulness meets photography and I see it as vital to my creative process.
The instrumental song Of My Dreams below is one I often play, give it a spin as you scroll through the project!
